The IEEE Summit on Sustainability has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus, COVID-2019

The organizers of the IEEE summit on sustainability – Vision towards 2050 have been monitoring the developing Coronavirus, COVID-2019. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we are sorry to announce that the IEEE Summit on Sustainability, scheduled to be held March 24, in Brussels will be cancelled. We are looking for a new date later this year to organize this event again and will provide more information as soon as possible. Registered participants will receive full refunds.

Please find all information concerning the registration for the IEEE Summit on Sustainability below. Please note that registration for this event is mandatory. The fee is 80€ for IEEE-members and 100€ for non IEEE-members.

Payment methods

You can pay by credit card or by bank transfer. Please select your preferred option in the last step of the registration process. If you select bank transfer, the payment details will be sent to you by e-mail. If you select credit card, you will be linked to an Ogone safe-payment page to arrange the payment. If you require an invoice, please contact us via the form on the contact page of our website: . The invoice will then be sent to you by email, including corresponding payment instructions. Please do not pay before receiving the invoice. If you have already paid your registration by credit card or bank transfer, you will still be able to receive a proof of payment, indicating the amount, however, it will no longer be possible to receive an official invoice. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration, and an e-mail confirming your payment. A week before the event you will receive an e-mail with all the practical information. Please make sure to fill out the correct e-mail address during your registration.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be accepted in writing only via the form on the contact page of our website: The cancellation request must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee, the bank account number used during your transaction and/or the transaction number. Cancellation on or before February 25, 2020 – The registration fee will be refunded, minus a 20€ administration fee. Cancellation after February 25, 2020 – no refund possible. Unpaid reservations will be cancelled by the KU Leuven Conference and Events Office 4 weeks after they have been made. KU Leuven Conference and Events Office must be notified in writing of cancellations of registration
